Images from our snow day

As most of you know, we were just pounded with a big snowstorm. Between yesterday and today we have accumulated over 18 inches of snow! We weren't so sure how Brody would like being out in it. The last time we took him out, in less than an inch, he didn't even want to walk in it!!! This time he really liked it. Brandon shoveled out paths in the backyard so that he would be able to walk around which really helped, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to even move!! Haha! So here are many of the photos I was able to take...enjoy!

Here is Brandon after shoveling our sidewalks and some of the driveway, (he needed a break!)

A kiss for the snowman...

Brody and Daddy building the snowman.

Brandon took advantage of the huge cooler outside! ;)

Dad teaching Brody how to make a snowball.

Brody loved throwing the snow!

Uh-oh! got some in his eye!
I love this picture, the snow just stuck right to those lashes!!

Brandon spent about an hour or so before we came out building his snowman. My big kid!

Mmmm....snow!!

Testing out his new sled (didn't get too far!) :)

Oh, to be little again and get this much enjoyment out of snow!!!

  1. Such great pictures Lori! I'm glad he likes it now! Tanner wouldn't go out at all yesterday. I kept asking him if he wanted to play outside with Daddy and he would say "Yay" and then I would say you want to play in the snow and he would say "No" and he wouldn't let me put his clothes on. Maybe one of these days we'll get him out in it since it probably won't melt forever! Love, Steph

  2. These photos take me back about 25-30 years to when Brandon and his brothers loved to play in the snow and build anything from a snowman to an igloo. (Back then, he also dreaded walk and driveway shoveling-imagine that!) Love, Nana
